Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing runs locally in your browser and your files never leave your device.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome and Edge with WebGPU perform best. Firefox and Safari use the WASM fallback where supported.

How do I enable WebGPU for faster processing?

Chrome: WebGPU is enabled by default on modern versions. Edge: Go to edge://flags, search for 'WebGPU', and enable it. Firefox: Go to about:config, search for 'dom.webgpu.enabled', and set it to true. Then restart your browser.

Why does NAFNet Deblur only use WASM?

NAFNet uses the Pad operator which has compatibility issues with WebGPU. WASM (CPU) is the only stable option for this model.

Why is processing slower on mobile?

This is a client-only app, so speed depends on your device. Mobile CPUs and GPUs are slower than desktop hardware.

What AI models do you use?

The app supports Real-ESRGAN for upscaling plus optional models for colorization, denoise, and background removal.

Is there a file size limit?

Very large images can take longer or run out of memory. Smaller images process faster and more reliably.

Does it work offline?

After the models are cached in your browser, you can use the app without a network connection.
